Three ingredients for a great life

My birthday is coming up and as I get older, I reflect more on what I want out of life.

In thinking of what it means for me to be happy and fulfilled, I identified these three fundamental pillars:

– Freedom of location
Being able to live and work from anywhere, allows us to design our lives around our relationships and lifestyles and not the other way around.

– Total control of time
Being able to work remotely or making a lot of money is useless if we don’t control our time. You want to be able to have an empty calendar that you can use to be productive and happy. If you don’t control your time, you don’t control your life.

– Passive generation of wealth
If you get paid by the hour, then you don’t make money when you are asleep. It’s so important to build assets that generate wealth when you are not working (a book, an app, an outsourced business..etc.). This will also mean that you can scale it easily. You can’t scale yourself or your time.

What about you? What are the main pillars of your ‘great’ life?

Let me know in the comments.
