One of the traps I’ve consistently fallen into is reading too much and doing too little.
See, we love to endlessly read about tips and tricks to get fit, learn to code, or solve a problem or challenge we have.
Reading about something makes us feel productive. And while most of us overdo it, the rest never do it.
For this reason, I keep reminding myself to stop reading and start doing.
Reading about the benefits of Keto or fasting won’t help me lose fat or live longer. Doing the thing will do that.
So the next time you catch yourself reading about a topic too much, remind yourself to start taking action.
Start small. Instead of exercising three days a week, do one. Instead of fasting every day, fast once a week. Instead of creating an app with ten features, focus on the three most important ones.
The cost of inaction is greater than the cost of making a mistake.
I wrote this post for myself. It’s a reminder for me to start EXECUTING.
I just shared it with you because I know you are most likely like me. A world-class procrastinator.
